Paystrup FamiLee reunion at Canyon Glen.

Such a lovely day in the park!

So sad I lost my pics for the rest of the day. :(

Fun Before the 4th of July

We went for a drive up the canyon through the Alpine Loop and stopped at Sundance. On a whim Gramma Lee got us all lift tickets. Thanks Gramma!

Of the many times I've been on this lift, this was my first time ever bare-foot! I don't know which is scarier this high off the ground; feet light as air or almost too heavy to lift?! It's pretty equal in my book.

That night the kids played as if they had all the energy in the world left! How did uncle Adam do it?

They got him!

Walking on the Moon

We played with Grandma Reynolds and cousins in the fountains at the Gateway Mall and then we decided to walk a block to the planetarium.
A week earlier, when Seth was throwing up at Zion NP, he had told me that he "wanted to go to the moon." (???)
Who knew in a matter of days his wish would come true!

Fun with Utah Family

Happy Birthday Katie! We spent a day playing in the water with cousins and aunts and uncles. While everybody was playing here...
Seth was quietly drinking all of their rootbeer over there.

After a fun-filled afternoon, we decided to test our skills at mini-golf:

READY....

SET....

GO!

Isaac preferred the "sweeping motion" technique.

After about 20 strokes and the cousins had long since gone to the next hole, Isaac got the ball in and triumphantly declared, "I WON!"

Only in Utah!!!!!

Golfing was fun, but I think they enjoyed rolling down the hill just as much!

Cabella's

After the copper mine, we went to Cabella's for lunch and a "tour" of the store/museum. It was HUGE!

I asked Seth what he thought the elephant tusk was and he answered, "A nana! (banana)!"

There was a huge room (not my favorite) filled with any kind of animal you could shoot and stuff.
Sethy liked feeding the fish...

so much that he turned his pop gun into a fishing rod!

Thanks again, gramma lee for the fun!

Kenecott Copper Mine

Of all the time I've spent in Utah, I can't believe I've never been here before!
I'm so glad Gramma Lee suggested it! It's AMAZING!
This open mine is so big that astronauts can see it from space!!!!!
Of all the earth they dig out, only 1% contains copper, but they go through so much every day that they make millions of dollars a year.
You can imagine the size of the vehilcles in the pit.

I highly recommend this relatively quick trip if you're passing through Utah!
