Point Lobobs State Reserve

It has been said that this is the greatest meeting of land and sea, and the following pictures will show you why.


I found myself walking on rainbow colored sand. Apparently, it was a "middin" or kitchen from the Indians who lived here hundreds of years ago. What is left is crushed abalone shells all throughout the ground!

beautiful swirly water, the abalone didn't come out so well, but I can imagine it, as I LOVE abalone! Looks a little chilly, or you guys look like wimpy Californians :)
